Your base camp 10 minutes from the start — sleep well before race day
Every autumn, the Bayman gathers thousands of triathletes from around the world in the bay of Mont Saint-Michel: swimming in the waters of the Couesnon, cycling the roads of the bay, and running to a finish line at the dam, facing the illuminated Mont. Domaine des Figuiers in Servon is a 10-minute drive from the race site — the ideal base to sleep in peace, manage your nutrition and arrive fresh at the start line.
The Bayman offers three distances: M (1.5 km swim, 40 km bike, 10 km run), L (half-distance: 1.9 km / 90 km / 21 km) and XXL (full distance: 3.8 km / 180 km / 42.195 km). In recent editions, the swim took place near the Mont's dam, the bike course wound between Normandy and Brittany, and the run climbed up to the Abbey before finishing at the dam facing the Mont. The 2027 dates and courses will be published by the organisers — this page will be updated as soon as they are announced.
Ten minutes from the race site, Servon offers what an athlete needs the night before a triathlon: countryside silence for a real night's sleep, a fitted kitchen to control your pre-race dinner and pre-dawn breakfast, free parking on the property, and a stress-free early start with no traffic. Your supporters enjoy the Mont and the bay while you race.
Servon, at the Gates of Mont Saint-MichelFor an athlete travelling as a couple, L'Écume is the obvious choice: a cocoon for two whose spa bath is perfect for relaxing after the effort — massage jets on your legs after the race are the best way to start recovery. Bathrobes provided, quality bedding, private garden for next-day stretching.
Gîte L'ÉcumeComing with your club? Les Pèlerins sleeps up to 8: a large kitchen for the night-before pasta party, several bedrooms so everyone rests at their own pace, and a big garden to spread out gear and check the bikes. Split between 8, it's also the smartest-value stay in the bay.
Gîte Les PèlerinsBook your accommodation as soon as registration opens: the bay sells out fast on race weekend. Arrive the day before at the latest for bib collection and a look at the site. Plan your pre-race meals — Pontorson, 5 minutes away, has all the shops. And if you bring family, see our activity guides: supporters have plenty to do all day.
